Jennifer Grant

Kindergarten Teacher

Jennifer Grant was born and raised in north Texas. She and her husband, Aaron, have three children, all students at GCCA. Jenn loves camping, boating, and hiking with her family. Jenn’s love for people is evident as she makes learning phonograms and math facts interesting and exciting for the kindergartners.

Her greatest joy is sharing the love of Christ with her students, helping to hone them into “sharp arrows that go forth into the world.” (Psalm 127:4)

Faith Hurt

First Grade Teacher

Faith arrived in Texas via New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico. She met her husband, Justin, at New Mexico State University where she majored in Elementary Education. Justin and Faith have four children, all of whom attend GCCA. The entire Hurt family enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities and spending time together. The families of GCCA are thankful for her gifts of mercy and consistency.

John 15:5 is one of Faith's favorite verses, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” She is encouraged as she sees the students flourish under godly teaching at GCCA.

Josh Taylor

Third and Fourth Grades Teacher

Josh is our resident table tennis pro. Our only proof rests on his word, however, as GCCA does not yet have table tennis at our facility. Josh is a native of the area and lives in Burleson with his lovely wife, Carrie, and two daughters, Mollie and Nora.

Josh graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and loves studying philosophy, theology, and ancient literature in his free time, while adding a bit of retro video gaming now and then. He is also our resident computer geek and keeps the staff from succumbing to technology frustrations on occasion. Micah 7:8 is a great encouragement to Josh, “Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me.” Josh is a blessing to the GCCA staff and students.
