Welcome Mr. Colby Jones!

GCCA is glad to announce that Colby Jones will be teaching Greek, Rhetoric, and Theology for our Upper School. Originally from Tuscaloosa, AL, Mr. Jones has been a Texas resident since 2012. He earned a BA from Southeastern Bible College (where he met his wife Sarah), an MA from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before coming to GCCA, Mr. Jones taught Biblical Studies courses for several years at Southwestern Seminary and Texas Baptist College. He and his wife are also active members of Redeemer Church (White Settlement, TX), where they have been members since 2013. When Mr. Jones isn’t reading books on Biblical Studies, Theology, and (of course) Greek, he enjoys more than anything hanging out with his wife and 4 kids. He also enjoys Alabama football (Roll Tide), and engaging in super-nerdy discussions about obscure details from The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.
